Cord Verandah Blinds
The most traditional of the verandah styles, these blinds are rolled up from the bottom with cord and pulleys.
Top: Timber in pocket screwed to verandah
Bottom: 50mm roller in pocket, straps on ends
Mechanism: 6mm sashcord with pulleys
Gap from blind to ground: Approx 150mm
Max width for single blind: Approx 3500mm
Materials suited: Most materials except clear PVC

Spring Verandah Blinds

The spring or automatic Verandah Blind takes away the dangling cords.
Top: 50mm roller in pocket with brackets
Bottom: 50mm roller in pocket, straps on ends
Mechanism: Spring in top roller

Crank Verandah Blinds
The crank style of verandah blind is a recent innovation that allows blinds to drop to floor level.
The blind can be wound fully down and attached at the bottom and then cranked back up to tension.
Top: 80mm roller with blind slid into slot
Bottom: Various depending on needs
Mechanism: Top gearbox with crank handle
Gap from blind to ground: Flush to ground
Max width for single blind: Approx 6000mm

Channel-It Verandah Blinds
This new style is based on the crank verandah blind but the sides have an aluminium side channel, which stops any weather forcing its way in at the sides.
It can be stopped and fastned at any height with the push of a button.
Top: 80mm roller with blind slid into slot
A fully enclosed head box is also available
Bottom: Rectangular aluminium tube with spring loaded locking pins each end
Sides: Aluminium side channels (strong enough to be used as side post if no permanent post is available)
Mechanism: Top gearbox with crank handle
Gap from blind to ground: Flush to ground
Max width for single blind: No more than 6000mm
